Monster Quest did a show on Sasquatch attacks to people last night. Like other shows, the evidence was tested and one case was solved. The lady who claimed lizard man attacked her car did not believe the results of the earlier tests of the DNA from the blood left behind, which turned out to be that of a dog. The Monster Quest team took measurements of the teeth marks on the side of the vehicle and did tests to indicate how much strength was needed. They ruled out a bear, as it would have torn off the roof. A primate would have used its fists, not got on all fours and bit at the hood. It turned out it was a dog, and I am guessing it could of been a pit bull that escaped from a dog fight. Dog fights are popular in the South, and the dogs tend to be vicious because of their treatment.
Other DNA from other tests turned out to be from other sources. Hairs were from a cat and a human, as they were found on the grill underneath where the vehicle was hit by the beast. I had a feeling about that, as it would of been difficult for the creatures fur to land in that area. Two boys shot at the creature, and the bullet was found. Unfortunately, the DNA was too damaged to make out what it belonged to. The two boys and the girl did see the creature when it got up and walked away from the accident on two feet. They described the creature as a Sasquatch, and one could tell they would rather not have had that encounter. The usual answer was a bear, but bears would run away on all fours, as it is quicker for them. Another good case was the Sasquatch running along vehicles on Interstate 84 out west. Many witnesses filed reports, including four policemen. They all described the same creature, and it was a Sasquatch. Overall another interesting program, with a case solved. I do get frustrated none of the other physical evidence works out, but it is nice to get some answers. |
