Monster Quest on Vancouver Island's Sasquatch

Vancouver Island has had many sightings of a Sasquatch, and MQ went to investigate the sightings and evidence. Like most episodes dealing with this subject, there was some good footprint impressions taken and personal experiences with the creature.

The plaster footprints are among the better quality as the ridges and other unique aspects of feet can be seen. The probability of them being hoaxes is quite low, as someone would of had to make them in the middle of nowhere with the hopes of the tracks being found. The weight needed to make the deep impressions would also make it very difficult to create. Fakes also do not have the ridges and other identifying marks on them. Most track experts would also be able to tell a fake from the real deal.

The people interviewed who saw the creature were not the type to make this sort of thing up. Most of the sightings dealt with the creature near the shore eating shellfish. That is kind of interesting as most others just see the creature darting into the woods.

Overall, an interesting episode on a fascinating creature.
