Monster Quest and Killer Croc

Monster Quest investigated stories of killer giant crocodiles. They did get some film of a 20 foot long plus monster in India. The crocodile was impressive although prehistoric crocodiles reached over 40 feet in length. Since the prehistoric crocodiles are genetically similar to the ones living today, I would not be surprised if scientists could create a 40 foot giant today.

An interesting program that showed some huge crocs. I would not want to come face to face with any of them.

Krys Pawlowski wrote her name in the record books 50 years ago when she and her husband captured an 8.63 metre (28ft 4ins) crocodile.
It is the largest crocodile ever measured.

The plaque should not read captured, it should read shot and killed.

I have fished in the Norman River a few times and have seen crocs well over 15 ft.

It is possible they can get that big again now that they are protected from poachers. Crocodiles never stop growing, and the big ones were always captured and killed. That monster must of been quite old too.

A human being would be a small snack to that bison eater. They truly are the king of predators!
