Photo of 55ft snake shocks China

A photo of a 55 ft. snake has created a buzz in China. The image purports to show one of two gigantic boas found by workers clearing out a forested area in the Jiangxi province. However, local government officials have labeled the story/photo a hoax, as such boas are not native to this area. More at Ananova News.

JEEEEEZ thats big!, if its fake u gotta wonder why peeps would go to all that trouble, maybe to get tourists ect , i dunno , impressive though!

and that cage looks like the cab to control the crane thing thats holding the snake up!, not just a random dude in a cage lol!!, at least we worked that bit out!

yeah the cage is the cab of the machine. I've sat in one simular to it before lol. So there are many creatures that are not native to areas that are found that grow to large sizes. It is possable I guess. People let theire pet snakes loose in florida and they will grow and survive just fine. If it is real it's proof that things can get to monsterous man eating sizes lol, kinda scarry. Guess we will wait and see.

oh duh i see now, he is in like a earth mover machine which is holding up the snake, the "cage" is like the cabin part

i just cannot believe on it but surely if you give picture it will be true.
