What other kinds of mystery creatures are out there that you have heard of besides bigfoot and chupacabre?

I think some people consider vampires to be part of the 'mystery creature' realm.

Now I have heard of the Mothman which is seen by many people just before large accidents. Am I right. If so I watched a show on this one that said millions have said to have seen it.

Maybe its a Angel?
I mean, it has wings... and it looks human-like... I heard from many accounts these past years about Angels appearing before accidents also(no preachin here). I don't know... maybe it is a mothman? |

I think angels is a very good possibility! I never thought of that but I remember hearing about it now that you mention it.

Heard of Mananaggal from Philippines? It is like a winged witch who detaches its upper torso leaving the lower torso in search for a prey. It is usually associated to a woman with a very longs hair and nails.(Look at my avatar) It attacks on full moon as it's wings sprout ready to search for its prey , usually a pregnant woman. It sucks blood and eat fetus.
It's a folkloric mythical creature in the Philippines. However there are still residents claiming that they are attacked by this creature. Last edited by Cossette; 09-05-2008 at 08:23 PM. |

I have not heard of Mananaggal... It certainly sounds like a part of folklore, something similar to all those different monsters from Greek mythology.
