I love the stories about the Jersey Devil. I've driven through the Pinelands of NJ so many times. It's still pretty woodsy down there. I believe there was something long ago, but it was probably an odd mutation of an animal specific to the area; and the story grew from there.

I seen a television show about it where they were trying to film it and a lady on the crew seen it, but will not tell anyone what she seen.

Ahh the old jersey devil :-D i thought it was always considered to be a Sasqautch? or similar entity? Big man-ape like creature with dark red fur and grotesque face, believed to be heard making whistling sounds?

I'm not sure what it is supposed to look like. A friend of mine got a Jersey Devil tatoo and it looked like the logo for the hockey team.
