Monster Quest on the Snowbeast

The snowbeast is a Bigfoot creature that lives in the Colorado Rockies and is alleged to hunt elk (yes, it is that big!). The program had some decent eyewitness accounts of this rather large creature, and many pictures of footprints to analyze. The search during the program, like many others, was fruitless, but it was still interesting.

The snow tracks were explained as mountain lions and other critters, not Bigfoot. There was one footprint made near the riverbed that was analyzed and stated to be much to big for a bear. The weight that created it was tested and found to be around one thousand pounds, much bigger than a bear too. I don't know if bears or mountain lions attack adult elk, as they would be too big and would give them a fight for their lives.

They also did a study of the sightings and found that the path of the Snowbeast Bigfoot is moving further west toward the huge protected wilderness, just like the elk. All in all an interesting episode on one of the many types of Sasquatch seen around the world.
