Default Favourite Food?

What is your favourite food?

I've got to say that my favourite food is a good curry or a lovely tagine! A lamb tagine or lamb madrass. The latter served with plain couscous and mixed beans, the former served with Bombay potatoes, saag alloo and a well cooked Peshwari naan.

If my mum cooks on a Sunday.... it's got to be be; roast leg of lamb, with crispy roast potatoes, mash, and honey and pepper roast carrots and parsnips.

She cooks mean Carribean dishes too! Curried goat, fried plantain, fried chicken, sweet potato and rice and peas.....

For desert???? I'm not fussy. I like vanillery flavours.......

I'm hungry!

Could any wife/girlfriend or for that matter boyfriend/husband, ever cook as good as your mum?

I do have a couple of friends that had piss poor cooks/mums... IE: a pea sandwitch, a roast onion, boiled beefburgers.... in general those friends were were stupid anyway.... but in general, could your partners match your mum? Seriously, could they?

I've just remebered my mums lasagne, steak and kidney pie, meat and potato pie and liver and onions!

My God, I'm hungry!!!!

Closet????

Is that a hint at that your mum doesn't have any room in her larder? Or fridge or cupboards?

Or perhaps a gay jibe?

I'm being thick tonight! IE: Stupid (For the cultural understandings of our American or 51st State brethren)

I'm shocked.... how can you eat a good english breakfast without a fried egg (or two coz i'm very fat)

My mum made the best chip bap ever, the wife, bless her, has tried but just can't match it.

Ok...Now i'm hungry for a fry up

A good meatball sandwich with mozzarella cheese from a good Italian restaurant. (I am not talking about the shit sandwich Subway sells!)

Some of my Vietnam veteran friends will never eat rice again after being in that area! Rice was all they were fed, and if they are ever served rice, the server would be wearing it.
