What exactly is going to happen on this day, why these fortune tellers are telling stories about this 8-8-8 combination. Every one is getting excited about this day,but my excitement is for Olympics as the event is starting off tomorrow.What are you excited about?

Not really excited about this. I remember 8-8-88 and nothing happened there. Certainly not as exciting as the year 2000 with all the fuss on Y2K.

What a huge letdown. Not much excitement except the opening of the Beijing olympics. The fireworks were astounding. The air pollution just became worse. I hoped the performance of the athletes wouldn't be affected too much. I'm sure not a few thought about it.
