Default People are cruel: Cat wrapped in duct tape

Fortunately the cat was found in a yard by a woman. The cat is doing fine, but the people who did this are not worthy to be considered human or any other living creature. I really get upset when I read about cats and dogs being treated like this.

Not much to say about this story, but it at least has a happy ending.

One Halloween some kids were throwing kittens at cars. I had found one of the kittens alive but scared really bad, before I could pick it up another kid walked over all loud like and scared it off. I sluged the kid in the neck for scarring it. But I was most pissed off when the cops stoppped me as if i was the one torturing the kittens. I think that was the only time I got baligerant with a cop.

The thing is the kitty in the video is the sweetest thing. I just can't see why people could be so cruel to a creature that walks up to greet them and expect a scratch behind the ears. Kids who do that stuff are future serial killers.

Stories like the above make me very angry, but mostly sad. I am not proud to be a part of the human race when I read stuff like that.

I might be wrong, but it always seems like these cases take place down south... (Southern states in the U.S.)

Those rednecks run out of interesting things to do I suppose.

Poor cat. I would adopt the cat.

Up north here it happens a lot too. The kids here are bored because there is nothing to do. Our teen pregnacy rate is up as well as the use of drugs and getting into trouble.
I think the punishment should fit the crime, personally. Wrap them up in tape and see how they like it. Animal cruelty is a slap on the wrist compared to most crimes. A few days in jail maybe, a fine for sure. Once in a while you get a good judg who will prosacute to the fullest but even that is still a slap on the wrist.

When I lived in the South, a group of teen girls (yes girls) called a dog to follow them. They then lit the animal on fire and left it to die in the woods. The owner was left to find his dog barely alive. The dog died from the wounds.

I do see this happening more in the South.

The girls and the parents of the girls did not know what all the fuss was about. When the story ran in the newspaper, the next days' comments were all against what they did. The girls received no sympathy, the dog owner and the dog received it all. It was refreshing to see people still do not tolerate cruelty to animals, no matter where they are from.

Thats why the girls didn't think they did anything wrong, theire parents probably taught them to be that way! Grrr, some people need a swift kick in the ass I swear. My parents always taught me to be nice to animals, in fact we had so many strays and wild animals around as pets we practicly had a small zoo lol. I was also taught how to conservate wildlife and all that. I hunted, and we eat what we kill. Some times it's nessisary to take a deer out of the population, over populations leads to disease that can effect other species and so on. But just beacuse you have to kill it doesn't mean you have to be cruel to it either or treat the animal like a lesser being. There is a degree of respect you should have for such matters. Those who torture animals are scum. I don't hunt any more, but if ever the time came that I needed to hunt to eat and survive I can easily. So in case of that zombie outbreak I can live in the woods just fine among the tress lol.

No one can take responsibility anymore. It is always someone else' fault. The parents say their babies would NEVER do something so cruel, and if they did, someone made them do it.

Maybe it is time to go old school and bring back paddling!
