Who here has seen "Man on the moon" with Jim Carey?
Andy Kaufman was a genius! I dont think he faked his own death though... but it would be kool if he did come back in 10 or so years! "If Andy did fake his own death, he wouldn't come back in 5 years.. he would come back in 20 or something... so he would have to start ALL over..." -Andy's Sister.

His humor was very absurd, so many people though it was a joke when his death announcement came. I guess that was the best tribute he could have gotten. I thought he could be a little too grating, and there was a meanness to him when he performed many characters. He should of watched more of Don Rickles to learn how to play mean.
I think he should of become a variety star, with all the characters he invented. |

alot of his humour was not to entertain audiences but himself, plus, he never considered himself a comedian and never called himself one...
he said he was a "Song and Dance Man". He was always pushing boundaries... "Everybody loves a villain..."
