A kid overhearing his parents say he was an accident. Ouch.

Actually, it was my younger brother and my mother had a little too much to drink when she said it. I think she never would of mentioned it when she was sober. I am second born, but was close after my brother. I do not think I was planned either.

Trust me, it is worse when a mother or father says to their child.."I regret having you" ... I planned my child..and got bitched at by my own sister...all because we wernt married at the time..we were just living together for over 10 years...and I got an earfull of - "OMG can't believe you planned your child"....I was just married 2 weeks ago...and all of a sudden im good again.. I just hate those that use religous view when it suits them...they dont give a toss for religion any other time..but to throw spite..BINGO!!! ..funny how my sister works..she only set foot in a church when getting married and 3 years later her sons christening....that's it...the word - HYPOCRITE springs to mind!

I know my mother doesn't regret me or my brother. I never asked if I was planned, but I figured it out.
When you move out of your house and get your own place, you have a new family to start and take care of. It may be small at first, but it does grow. When I took in my foster boys and adopted the other, my family grew for me. I did not care what my parents or siblings thought, and lived my own life. I like what the character Onslow of "Keeping Up Appearances" stated about family: Its like fudge, mostly sweet with some nuts in there. |

I moved out of my parents place many moons ago...and yes loved the idea of having my own life...and now love the idea of having my own little family....but regardless how much you love how you lead your own life...it can still hurt you when one or two of them show spite at how you live your life Quick story...When I attended my sisters wedding a few years ago...I was 2 months pregnant....my mom, dad and sister never spoke to me at the wedding...my mom totally blanked me out...all because they were ashamed of me for being pregnant Back in the day...if a girl got pregnant and was not married...they would have waited untill she was about to give birth and made her deliever the child in a secret location...the sec the child came into the world...they took it and killed it...SICK but thats what a religious view can do |
