I never got Friends and the British version was worse.
If you want to watch to previously good shows self destruct, try Ugly Betty and Brothers & Sisters. Full House is one of the worst sitcoms ever, and it can cause diabetes. NBC's sitcoms of the late 1970s and early 1980s were quite bad (Hello Larry anyone?) One Day At a Time is boasted as the loudest sitcom ever. Is there one episode where they don't scream at each other? Criminal Minds is an exercise in gruesome violence. The joke is star Mandy Pantkin left the series after he finally watched an episode. Its fans love it though. I hate reality shows, period! The absolute worst piece of shit ever put on television was Life With Lucy. Lucille Ball thought she could bring back the old sitcom, and she failed miserably. I watched that abortion and almost died. |

I can't think of the name of the show, but it was based on Friends. Then NBC made a show of the same name (An American show based on an English show based on an American show!).
Speaking of Americans stealing British shows and destroying them: Amanda's Place (Fawlty Towers with Beatrice Author taking over John Cleese' role) |

What about "The Office"? There was a British version and then an American version; its hard to say which was worse...
