No artificial intelligence, just programmed to respond in certain ways to questions and statements. It does look and sound creepy. I wouldn't want that thing in my house!

They are trying to teach it to think for itsself. the initial programming is there, but what they are hoping for is to make it be able to formulate responses based on the knowledge it has collected and even have deep conversations.

I know that one! It's very advanced! But like flash already mentioned, it's just programmed to respond to certain situations. And by the way, why does everybody think, that were screwed, if we really are going to get artificial intelligence. I think it will be a chance for humanity to discover even more mysteries out there, with a device, that just think logical and not abstract, like artificial intelligenze eventually will do. But that's just my opinion.
