Have you ever seen a ghost?

I saw my dad after my first son was born. He was standing over his cradle. My dad died 3 days before my son was born. It scared the crap out of me.

Wow! That's a scary experience... Did he look like a ghost (transparent, unreal) or like a regular man? What happened when you saw him, did he disappear?

I have several times. Only during dreams though usually. After my first husband died I cried for weeks on end until one night I dreamed that he walked through our bedroom door and told me he was ok and very happy. I woke up the next morning with a new outlook and have cried very little since over the death.

I have dreamed of dead people but I don't think I ever saw a ghost. I'm not sure though because strange things happen to me and I don't pay much attention to it.

But when I dream of dead people they usually give me a message. In a dream my mom told me that my sister was going to get very sick and that did happen.

In another dream an old friend of the family whom I'd known since I was born came to me in a dream three days after she died. She was sitting on my couch and told me to sit next to her. I sat down and she leaned over and kissed my right cheek and said, "You know I love you, Shari." She was and is the only person who calls me Shari.

These drams are not scary even when I'm told that something bad will happen like with my sister.
