Psychic Abilities

Do you believe in psychic abilities? I always have, and when discussing the matter with children (when I was a child) I was usually shunned and deemed "weird". So many things have happened in my life that would lead me to believe in this "power" all the way. My grandma was a professional psychic and never disappointed a customer with her card reading and general ability to see into someones past or future.

I am not sure if I do or not, especially with all the fakes, it makes it tough. The one thing that does make me want to believe is the show Psychic Detectives, a lot of the times they actually help solve the case, so why would a bunch of cops lie about it?

i do beleive in psychic powers. although i try to avoid the term psychic as it has a stigma and inevitably evokes a strong reaction form anybody who thinks of themself as a rational objectivist. too many things have happened to me that i cannot explain other than in ways of metaphysics.

Well, what you say makes sense, but cops and other detectives probably have no problem lying to the media about such things. Its ratings, views, and money.

I don't like the term psychic either Ellion, but its definitely real to me. Maybe as a 6th sense..or something like that.

I don't know if I really believe in psychics. I do think that there are a lot of fakes out there... I really don't like the shows that they have a psychics because you don't know if they are real.

Yes I do believe in psychic abilites but with those palm readings? I think I'll spend my money elsewhere. I just can't think that reading palm could tell you whats in store for you.

A psychic could not tell your fortunes either; they just tell you whatever you told them in different phrasing of course.

I believe in psychic abilities (even though most of the time I can't spell it so I apologise in advance). I think I have them as well.
And yup, I've been deemed weird and had the whole, coincidence thing. Also been told its not psychic it's more premonition like while others stick with psychic.
I dream, or, daydream about things, or think things randomly, but not quite daydreaming. And to some extent some of the things have happened. As if I were playing a script in my mind but the final "performance" had been changed a bit. Hmm maybe a thread about that. But yes, I do believe in psychic powers.
