A shadowy figure, tall and illusive, the dark and foreboding outline of a shadow man with a wide brimmed top hat and sometimes a comical grin! Seen by people all over the world... Adults and kids alike from all over the world have reported being visited by "The Hat Man".

What is the "Hat Man" and what is the significance of his appearance? Is he a demon? A lost soul?

Never heard of him..I even tried to Google it and got nothing...so I guess he hasn't been to my neck of the woods lol

This entity is real. My daughter has seen it while visiting her friend in our neighborhood, during a sleepover. It was standing, staring at someones house--it was very tall, thin and wearing a black hat. Her friend on another occassion was alone on her trampoline when she spotted it in the woods behind her home--in daylight. It was staring in her direction with its face hidden(looking downward). It had a horrific smile with jagged teeth. As well, it had shoulder length, curly hair.. She ran into her home in fear. She spotted again in the town skateboard park. Some people seem to attract this character. There has been a lot of paranormal activity around her home over the past few years, that she and my daughters are witnesses to. Bye now...

Ok,

I seen him. When I was 5 years old i woke up at night. I turn arround to look at the time. It was totally dark in the room. This was in Germany and there are wooden blinds on the outside of the window so even in bright daylight the room will be totally dark. There was only the light of the digital clock. It was always between 2:19 am and 2:22 am. I turn arround again and I was not paraliezed. If I would have had a sleep paralyzis then i wouldent have been able to look to the time because I had to turn arround. As I ly down again there he was. Standing on the end of my bed for a while. Then he walked to me and was standing right next to my head. At this point I was like paralized but I think that I did not move or scream because I was so scared.
I remenber very claerly even if it is so long time ago. Than everything turned dark. When I was little I always said he putted his cloak (jacket) over me. Next thing I know is that I woke up mostly short bevor the sun came up. I told my parents but they told me I am dreaming. My mom told me i should pinch my leg and when I dont feel it I know I am sleeping. I really did this one time and not really paraliezed at all, I felt it. I was brought at one point to the Mental Doctors and my brainwaves got checked out and all diffrent kinds of test but I was normal.

I did not have sleep paraliezes because I was able to move after I woke up. I also was able to pinch my leg and I felt it, to do so I had to move too.

I am trying all my life, almost everyday to find out wat it could be.
His picture is on a wine bottle called Sandeman. The name doesent have anything to do with the figure.

Than there is this book called who is afraid of the black man.
The Author has seen the same caracter in his dream. He found some mediums that he has tested bevor to contact this thing. After this book it turns out that it is death.
Death wants to tell us that it is the Angel of transformation. We should understand that it is not the end but a transformation. You dont necesserly have to die, it could also meen some kind of change.

I dont know if this is the truth what is written in this book but there are things described you dont know if you havent seen him.
