It looks like a possible prank. Is this the only time the image has been caught on tape?

Erm is it right that the person in white is just popping around the screen. It looks like a kid and has a backpack on. There is nothing on the video that shows the time could just be a very long time frame.

This is actually pretty old. (Like 5 years or so, I think.)

It's a hoax, there was a fairly professional investigation done there. As it turns out, the "ghost" is a paper puppet, held on a string right in front of the camera. Due to the perspective, it gives the illusion of something flying around the lot, when in reality, it's right in front of the camera the whole time.

I can't remember if they actually figured out who the hoaxer was, but the investigators replicated it perfectly.

This allegedly took place in Oklahoma City at a salvage yard. The story is that a young girl was killed in an accident and one of the vehicles on their lot was the one she was killed in. Relatives of the girl said that the figure in the video looked like her. While the investigation that SillyGoth talks about took place and was shown on TV, I was not convinced by it. They used a Heman action figure on a string and swung it in front of the camera. The footage was close, but you could tell that the action figure was on a string as it had a swinging motion to it. The original footage does not. Also, the reason the figure seems to jump around is that the camera only snaps a shot every 3 seconds.

The video is not proof of a ghost as it could have been hoaxed. It does not show anything that cannot be explained away.
In this day and age, it is way to easy to make a fake video or picture. At least in the age before digital, there were ways to test the film negatives and see how it was faked. The effects that can be created today are very good, and difficult for some to see.
