Ok now what about Ghost of the 70's Pet rocks? I think I see my old pet rocks spook all the time out in my driveway!

Animals cannot be ghosts, they do not have the same consciousness/soul as human beings, much like illegal immigrants.

I would differ on that opinion. Only Western religious beliefs (Judaism, Christianity) state animals do not have souls. All other belief systems support the idea that animals have souls.

Animism is what most Native and tribal religions believe. It is also a form of Paganism. It basically states that all life has some form of soul or spirit and should be respected. That is why they have ceremonies before the hunt, to pay tribute to the animal they are going to kill. They also make it a point to use every part of the animal after, so as to not kill for sport.
