Default My experience in a small town

Well, to start off, I grew up in a small town in Greenhills, Ohio. And I currently live there. They have paranormal activity.. and UFOs sometimes-- since theres currently a growing number of UFO sightings in Ohio. Anyway, I attended the local middle school there.. it's really interesting, because 48 hours mystery did a special on Greenhills, about a girl cheerleader who was murdered here at the middle school in 1963...

Quote:
(CBS) Residents of Greenhills, Ohio, can’t stop talking about what happened back in 1963. It’s just about the biggest thing that’s ever happened in this very small town.

A 15-year-old high school cheerleader named Patty Rebholz was brutally strangled and beaten to death.

You can find Patty’s name and a message etched on the sidewalk leading to the town pool: “Knowing who, we wonder why. Her life too brief, but not forgotten.” Correspondent Harold Dow reports on this unsolved murder.

Theres a urban legend at the middle school that she haunts the hallways and classrooms.
I talked to the staff there recently and they ALL had sightings of her. As a ghost, I mean. And they "are absolutely convinced she haunts the school"

For example, one of the female janitors told me this:
"Patty spoke to me one day... one day I was in a teachers room, completely alone. This was 8 years ago. I was sweeping up, not paying much attention to anything else, and suddenly heard a female voice.. very high pitched.. told me "Mary, watch out" and at first I thought the other janitors were fooling with me, we joke around a lot- so I step out to the hall and no one was there.. nothing. I come back in and start sweeping again. As before, I heard the girl's voice again "Mary, watch out" this time it was right in my ear, I heard it so clearly.. it seemed like someone was there, but no one. Actually, I heard a couple days later that Patty's convicted killer was working on the roofs that day. I think she was warning me of him.."

In the article I posted, the killer does indeed work on roofs.

I also spoke with a 8th grader and he told me he had seen her before. In the gym.. they were all leaving. But when he looked back he saw a white light sitting and it was a she with long blonde hair. If you look at the picture in the article, she has blonde hair! After I talked to the staff, I walked down a hallway to the exit. Right before I was about to get out of the building, the light flickered a lot.. I don't really consider that evidence.. at all, but it really freaked me out.

This investigation all happened today. Maybe I can go again, and try to make contact with the ghost.. but I highly doubt it.. seems like she only haunts when her killer is nearby. And no.. I never wanna speak to the 'convicted' killer.. he did it, I'm sure of it.

I just wanted to add a interesting post about something I consider pretty paranormal.
