These people make lot of predictions and deliver discourses to general public, guides and misguides them. But a query always bothers me that if these people are really blessed or it is just another easy method of making money? If they are so blessed they should be provide their services to the nation and can assist in solving the biggest of issues.

Money is a motivation. But if they're not asking for money and are merely seeking an audience for their profound discussions and predictions, I believe a visit to the psychiatrist is in order.

Or they may be harmless and are filling a need in the life of his students as a father figure, a teacher, or as someone to look up to. A discussion or even a good listener can work wonders in a person's life. Look at shrinks. Oftentimes, it's the release in talking it over with a person that boosts the therapy.

What do you think of futurists? An American futurist Michael Gordon Scallion build an empire writing a book of his predictions. Among his predictions were the death of the Pope replaced by an Italian one (It did happen) . He also predicted that parts of eastern USA would fall into the sea. NY's Manhattan island would be underwater. Another one is his prediction of devastating earthquake to occur in the US that would immerse some states into the sea. Now, do you believe futurists or would you consider them scam artists?
