Archaeologists find fragments of bone dating to the first or second century AD,
and the Pope is convinced they are the remains of St Paul the Apostle. Isn't faith wonderful?

Well, in my opinion, the bible and all connected to it, is just one huge scam!
Itīs funny, how man people believe in Jesus and God an all that, not noticing, that these persons are stereotypes used by many other religions. In fact, the egyptian mythology shares many information with the christian mythology. For example are many birthdates the same and most of the miracles, created by either Jesus/God or the egyptian Gods/heroes. |

i am a very spiritual person, but i believe religion was made up to scare people to do the right thing. Not everyone needs it. I also believe more than that, without "religion" we would be much worse off as a civilization. Without a doubt, some people despritly need religion. Whether to come to terms with themselves or feel forgiven for touching kids in other places than their hearts and minds. who ever was the first to start a "religion", no matter which one, was an absolute genius. As for christianity, i agree with you. I have done little research, but what i have read clearly shows that christianity has taken alot from earlier religions (i.e. peganism, early egyption) and put their own spin on it. To bad there was no copy-right back then huh? As for them finding the bones of who they say is St. Paul, OK, I'll believe you. Since the world is supposed to be ending in Dec 2012, is that all you have to say to your followers Pope Benedict 16. Im sure he said "Hey guys, look, the bible told you this guy existed and here he is." followed by "Awesome!!" i mean, "Amen" Im not trying to offend any one who is catholic, christian, or any other religious demographics. I am just making light of the topic at hand. Peace be with you. You pray for me and i'll tell the grays that you are a product of your enviroment. Seacrest Out.

the covenant and now St. Paul but only according to the Dr.knowitall Pope Benedict XVI. What exactly is he trying to manifest here? Is he trying to lay claims and form a foundation of more so-called concrete evidence to worship his ideas? Matrial found under the vatican? I'm sure he knows there is a burial under there. Don't tell us you dropped a gold coin and was tryint to fetch it.
Claims that Paul the Apostle and Martyr is buried under the vatican and wearing purple and gold? He was a man of god, not gold. |

Without analyzing the bones, their identity will remain a mystery.
I agree that dogma is the reason for all the main problems of religious thought. It is true the early Christians borrowed all the religious dates from Pagan holidays. Easter was the Goddess of Springs day, December 25th was Mithras' birthday and also had the festival called Saturnalia. I used to be a Catholic but now I am a Pagan. |

What a great text, especially the last sentence . But yeah, youīre right. As you mentioned, some people need religion, and I donīt think religion in a generic sense is bad. I just think, that the religions, that force you to believe in some sort of god, is both scary and dangerous. On the other hand, there are religions, that are peaceful and donīt force people to do certain things. For example Buddhism. |

The main problem is too few people seem to control religious thought and ideas. Spirituality should be a period of growth and finding ones core beliefs. It should not be held back by dogma, which makes up the rules of many religions.
