Satanism, obviously, is demon worship. What about transcendental meditation? Does that qualify too? Because they sure sound like they're demon-based cults. If you blank your mind to seek knowledge, something (not of God) will enter. As much as I can, I stay away from tarot cards, fortune tellers, and the like. I don't like that it's being glamorized. I was once invited to join a witch's coven...and casually too, like I was being asked to join a social club. I'm not zealous about religion and I'm not the type to preach. But people are so easily tricked to go to the other side. These cults are in disguise and they're out to get you through guided imagery, hypnotism, rebirthing, and mind control.

It's either one or the other huh? I haven't given transcendental meditation much of a thought. I don't do any of that stuff. I'm much too logical a person. At the same time, I won't condemn those who do yoga for example. There's a point here..one that I'll consider when the time comes.

I'm into yoga meditation, it's relaxing and keeps things in perspective. As far as I know, the leaders aren't peddling demonic philosophies. Until there's evidence, or hints, of that, I'll keep yoga in my life. I have discerning eyes, I'll know it when I see it.

One of my ex-roommates in college was a witch and she actually asked me to join her covent which I found was very insulting of her because she knew that I was Christian...and I mean she even went to a Christian College!

Nope, no one has approached me to do incantations. I am aware that there are those who practice this in my hometown. My aunt has ritual candles, herbs, incense and oils at her place. She even has a kettle! Sometimes I ask her what they are for. Love spells, she tells me. She's never asked me to join, she's scared of my mom, I think.

I know of a handful of covens and numerous other religions.
(including a pair of Jedi, but i don't consider them evil either) BTW are you saying these things are occult? Quote:
