The Christian Right recently had their Values Voters Summit. They not only attacked atheism, but homosexuality, pornography and anything liberal as well. It is interesting that Miss California went on to speak about how the Values Voters were all in support of tolerance, even though she favors taking away a group of peoples rights.

I am not an atheist, but a Pagan and we also get attacked. We are considered occult, which is much worse than being an atheist.

Here's a link to a live feed from the Values Voters Summit. I beleive the reporter's in the wrong, the paying attendees should be allowed to hear the speakers....but there's an underbelly of deeper hostility.

I fall into some of the attacked catgories. I've been preached to on the streets before because I look like a snner I guess lol. The way I see it, if your a good person and you do no harm, why pitch a squak?

When they do not have atheists and Pagans to push around, they go after Catholics and Mormons. It is ironic they would go after the Catholics, who thought Protestants were heretics.
