"What courage/virtue has united, death will not divide.
Freemasonry is a worldwide fraternal organization. Its members are joined together by shared ideals of both a moral and metaphysical nature, and, in most of its branches, by a common belief in a Supreme Being. Freemasonry is an esoteric art, in that certain aspects of its internal work are not generally revealed to the public. Masons give numerous reasons for this, one of which is that Freemasonry uses an initiatory system of degrees to explore ethical and philosophical issues, and this system is less effective if the observer knows beforehand what will happen. It often calls itself "a peculiar system of morality veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols." http://www.crystalinks.com/freemasons.html |

My grandfather never discussed his membership with the family. The only way we knew was because of the diamond ring he wore.

My grandad never talked about his Masonic involvement, but he had the ring as well. I've debated the merits over time of trying to acquire the ring (my mom has it)...but I doubt I'd fit very well. |

When my grandfather passed away, my brother had stated my grandfather wanted him to have it. My grandmother thought he was buried in it, but there is some speculation a relative stole it. The alleged thief passed away some time ago, and the ring has never shown up as his wife got all his possessions.
Try to get the ring so greedy relatives do not get a hold of it. It should stay in the family. |

we should start our own thing. call it "truthed seekers" and have secret meetings, where you bring your challace and fill it with some kind of alcohole mixture and talk about the biggest news of last year for about 2.5 hrs. also a couple weeks before the yearly meeting a couple "chosen one's" mainly new comers, will have to show up and build a cabin in the desert or woods so that when we are done with our ceremony to end it we burn it down and make sure the all evidence of us is gone. then people will be talking about us, wondering what goes on and why we destroy all evidence when we are done.
