C Street House: Latest secret society

The affairs of Sen Ensign of Nevada and Gov Sanford of South Carolina have given light to a very secret organization that many very conservative Christian lawmakers belong to. It is called the C Street House and not much is known about it. There is a book written by Jeff Sharlet who infiltrated the group. I will be reading it in the future to find out more about this organization.

People talk about Skull and Bones and Freemasons, but there are many more very secret groups that are not known to even the conspiracy theorists. This is one of them.

From what the Rachel Maddow show has stated, this group is for theocracy and authoritarian control of the United States. Many sermons are about the total devotion to Jesus just like the Nazis had total devotion toward Hitler.

I think this subject can fit in both the religious or secret society thread. Since it is a secret place that few knew about before the scandals broke, I decided to put this here.

I am surprised I am not seeing more of this at other sites devoted to secret sects. This is a scary group because these are members of Congress and the Senate who make our laws.
