Another new episode of the show UFO Hunters was on last night (April 1), and it was about people who had been abducted by aliens, mostly the greys type.
It started with a woman who talked of her abduction experience. She was one of the few who does not need hypnotic regression to recall what happened. It was an interesting story, but no evidence and the others in the car have no memory of the abduction. A husband and wife were interviewed about their abduction, and they needed hypnotic regression to recall theirs. I have a problem with hypnotic regression, as fantasy can get mixed with reality. There is also the problem of the pop culture popularity of aliens. Most people know what the aliens look like and what an abduction is. The UFO Hunters then talked to a person who knows all about Zacharia Sitchin's theories. He talks of the Annunaki, but does not give Mr Sitchin any credit. I was starting to think the episode would start to just talk of the many theories out there. Then the man mentioned the Starchild skull... The Starchild skull was found in the 1930s in Mexico by a young woman. It has been dated to be @ 900 years old, and is very round and strange in appearance. Skeptics say it is a birth defect, but the skull is symmetrical. It is much lighter than a normal skull yet much stronger. The mitochondrial DNA indicated the mother was human, but they could not determine if the father was. The anomalous skull was taken to a special effects artist who also recreates faces out of skulls. The outcome was quite fascinating, and the new skeptic Kevin asked how much of it was artistic impression. The overall shape was from the skull, but the face had a little artistic impression in it. When I saw the human looking face and the very round head, it reminded me of another abduction case: Travis Walton. One of the problems some skeptics and believers of abduction cases was that Mr Walton's aliens did not look like the typical greys. I have always thought his description of the two types of aliens made his story more believable. The Starchild resembled what he described in his second book about his abduction. There are drawings of the aliens he saw, and the first group were short, but had large ROUND heads. That seems to me like a very huge coincidence, and I doubt Mr Walton had any knowledge of what the Starchild would look like. The aliens Mr Walton saw were quite human in appearance, with five fingers and humanoid in appearance. Their heads and faces look remarkably close to the Starchild. To me, this gives the ufology world a very big and tantalizing clue. I am one to be on the side that states the Starchild skull is a hybrid, and so were Mr Walton's alien friends. One of the best episodes of the show to date. |
