UFO Hunters had a program on underwater bases last night, and it was like many other episodes of the program. Interesting in some places, maddening in others, and no real evidence or new information on the subject.
The best evidence looked at was the two straight lines underwater that were discovered by a former intelligence worker. I wish Cuba would have granted permission for the crew to investigate, but they revoked it. The show made it look like a conspiracy, but they forget that they are still dealing with an ancient communist bureaucracy. The maddening part was when they touted the photographs of Ed Walters as the real deal. Even Bruce Maccabee has been fooled by those obvious fakes. I have written about them before, and will do a thread just on the case. Fishermen has claimed to see green objects off the shore, but those cases were probably bioluminescence. Some witnesses did come forward, including a naval petty officer with nearly 20 years in the service. He was the only one to see the USO, and new skeptic Kevin asked him if he had been drinking. He had not, and seemed to be sincere on what he saw. Three late teenage men also told of their encounter at Guantanamo Bay when they were around 9 or 10 years old. Kevin stated that they were young, and their imaginations may have gone into overdrive. It is possible, but one can tell they were quite shaken by their experience. Also, they were military brats, and know what aircraft look like. The experiment to see how a craft can enter and leave water without splashing was interesting, but did not prove anything. Also, Pat was volunteered to go off with a shark hunter. That was humorous, and he came back in one piece. All in all an entertaining episode, though I wish they would of focused on a few very good cases on the subject. (Shag Harbor comes to mind.) |

This chap: http://www.timothygood.co.uk/
Wrote in his book 'Unearthly Disclosures - ISBN-10: 0712684654' (the only one of his that I have read)... About UFO bases undersea (and also in the mountains etc....).... I find the evidence a bit wishy washy to be honest, he's a bit of a 'Von Daniken' bullshit merchant I feel.... However, a couple of weeks ago I came across this on YouTube.... (not sure if I saw it here first)..... They call them USO's now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zYjvQ7OtVc That is the first part..... Somewhere on Youtube, I saw other bits and bobs too.....

Timothy Good does seem to accept many theories at face value, but some of his finds are quite interesting. The pictures in one of his books of that flying creature found in Puerto Rico are fascinating.
He also researched the claim made by Robert Dean of a Top Secret Assessment Report on aliens for NATO. He found no evidence that such a report exists, and Mr Good has a lot of extremely high ranking contacts in his favor. If Mr Good calls a person out on a claim, then the claim probably is not true. Timothy Good is like Jim Marrs; both authors will write about all the claims and both have a lot of bibliographies. They want the reader to decide for themselves. |

Does anyone have any more in depth info on these "Straight Lines" that were discovered?

They never did get to investigate the straight lines that crossed each other. Now that the travel restrictions for relatives have eased, maybe they could get a Cuban team to look in on them.
They could be natural, but the crossing of the straight lines is too coincidental for my tastes. I hope it does get investigated, but that could take a while. |
