There have been a wave of mysterious lights in Britain:
http://news.aol.com/article/mysterio...itain%2F516805 They do look like they could be the usual Chinese lanterns as one woman claims her wedding used them. What do our dear members think? |

hey man , im not gunna go into details , but i live in west Yorkshire, england, which is a ufo hotspot , unfortunatly , these lanterns seem to be an all to common occurance , from a distance they can look preety convincing if they have been released simaltainously, but u can pretty much write off lanterns if they are all moving in differnt directions ect at stupid speeds lol!

I think they tend to use the "Chinese Lantern" excuse the way the US Air Force used swamp gas in the early reports of UFOs. As you have mentioned, lanterns or balloons in the sky tend to float with the wind and not maneuver all over the place.
