i had an interesting conversation with my dad the other day about MIB, my dad is a ufologist as well as being heavly into the paranormal , hence my interest in "the unexplained" he told me that he has never encountered MIB face to face to talk to, but believe they do things to make you stay away from sites ect. this sounds crazy but your just going to have to take my word like i take my dads!
he once told me about the time he had been on one of his walks where at the time alot of ufo's had been spotted, he had left his car down at the bottom of a hill and returned to it to carry on up the moors where further sightings were. he told me that the car seemed to be struggling up the hill so was going to turn back anyway when in the middle of the road he saw a man dressed in a black pristine suit , sat on a little fold out camping stool, holding a stick with a sausage on the end......no barbeque or stove , cooking equiptment ect, this guy just looking at my dad, he said he could see the guys car parked further down the road , like a black volvo or something you would expect them to be driving lol, he can't remember that detail because the image of a man sat on a camping stool with a sausage on a stick in the middle of a road , sticks with him allways , the man didnt make an advance to him , he just sat there and my dad turned round because of the look he got and later could not find a fault with his ,before struggling, car. wether they had an influence on this i don't and he doesn't know!,

There are many areas of UFO hotspots that have magnetic and other effects with car engines. Some people think it could do with plate techtonics and the geology of the Earth. There are still many mysterious aspects of Mother Earth we know little or nothing about.
The first reports of Men in Black is from the donut UFO that spewed material at several men in Puget Sound back in 1947. (Some regard the incident as a hoax, but having read much about it the main encounter may be quite real.) Little is known about MIB, although people who encounter them find them quite eerie. |

thats interesting , thanks for the reply , allthough i find that MIB occurences seem to be reported less often now , seems to me that there are allways excuses or theorys as to what sightings are from a skeptical view point that whoever were sending these agents out dont seem to be bothered anymore , or we are just not seeing/hearing about it happen!

I have a story for you, not quite MIB i wouldn't think, but along those lines. As rebeling teens with their first jobs and cars, we used to gather at open fields and cliffs along the mississippi river. There we would experiment with alcohol at bon fires or take psycodelics and hike trails. At this particular time, I was meeting with my girlfriend and some friends from work at a spot a couple miles from the river ( it was a favorite spot of ours). The time had to be around 1 or 2 in the morning. We started a bon fire and was drinking, my girlfriend had to meet her grandmother the next day so she decided to stay sober. After laughing and acting like jits for 3 hours. Some people decided to go home, but me, my girl, a good friend of ours and his girl decided to stay longer. Our friend said he brought some ganja, so we of course burned a couple doobies. As we layed with our girls a couple feet from the fire. we heard this really loud bang like a car crash down the what we thought, because of the sound, was the street. It had been probably close to an hour and a half since everyone left, but we for some reason thought a friend of ours crashed. So we took off to go find out what it was. We piled into my girls Buick (since she was the sober one) and drove down the rocky road. needless to say we found nothing so we started back to the fire. Almost to the fire, a car apeered behind us and flashed its brights, we thought it might be a cop, so we pulled over. the car pulled in front of us and 2 men popped out in suits. one went to the driver window and the other went to the back of the car and was writing (I guess) the liscence number and description of our car. The man who, at this time we thought was an undercover, came to the window and asked us basic questions (why we were there, how long, was there more of us, ect). We told him everything he wanted to know in hopes he would take it easy on us. We were asked to step out of the car. The guy who had walked to the back of the car, came around and took pictures of each of us. Like booking pics, you know turn left, turn right, ect. the man who had asked the questions told us to get back in the car, and in a stern way told us "it would be a good ideal to go home now". We agreed. the men got into their car and kept going. we remembered that we had the bon fire still going and a couple things still by it, so we decided to go there and grab our things and put it out. when we got to our spot, everything was completly gone. Not that we had alot there, just a couple of beach chairs, coolers, trash. The fire, the pit we made from rocks for it, all gone. My car, and my friends car, gone. We were only away from the spot for maybe 45mins. My girl took us all back to my friends house, we called the cops and told them the story and filed a stolen car report. The city cops said it was their jurisdiction, but had no reports of us getting pulled over. After getting some rest, we decided to go back and check out the area again. around 4 or 5 o'clock that evening, and there was our cars and inside were the coolers and chairs.

MiB stories and reports are quite common in the cases from the 1950s and 1960s. The problem is trying to sort out what was real and what was embellished. Many of the books from those time periods were not very good and reporting actual facts. Hearsay and third hand reports are written as gospel truth in many of those books.
Still, the reports were scary to read at night, and many probably have a kernel of truth to them. |
