It is an interesting article. Thank you for sharing it.
I disagree on his assessment of contactees as I think they are all a little crazy. |

evolution has nothing to do with the way we act, think, or what we do on a spiritual level. Everything evolves no matter what, like darwin said survival of the fittest. It takes years upon years to evolve, just see how primative the human race was 2000 yrs ago. There's a huge difference!! Also, you can see tiny bits of it through sports records, notice they are always being broken. As a race, humanity will continue to evolve until something catistrophic happens. Also, theres a possibility that an event of the such, might just speed up the process. A question impossible to answer, thats why we have theories. We are like a garden. As we die, life emerges and learns how to live once again.

I think there is a big misconception on the human race being primitive in ancient times. The Romans were able to perform surgeries that were quite complex. The ancient Egyptians were even more advanced than the Romans. They knew about precession, something that our "modern" society did not know until recently.
Just because our society has Ipods and "modern" conveniences, does not mean we are any better or smarter than ancient peoples. |

As the writer of this piece, I suppose it would be a good idea to answer the comments here.
"evolution has nothing to do with the way we act, think, or what we do on a spiritual level. Everything evolves no matter what, like darwin said survival of the fittest. It takes years upon years to evolve, just see how primative the human race was 2000 yrs ago. There's a huge difference!!" Physically, this takes a long time. Mental and spritual evolution can be done instantly. The 100th monkey effect would be an example of such a thing. Besides, who is to say that we cannot evolve our thinking and soul? Science? I think not. "I disagree on his assessment of contactees as I think they are all a little crazy." I am noting their claims because the two sides are black and white with little grey area in the outcome. It is a problem of ethics, which I stated. I don't have 100% faith in all of them, though I do not entirely discount any one. It's better to assimilate information and filter information that makes no sense or is demonstrated to be false than just adopting fixed points of view. To Kidflash - I'm not addressing society from a historical point, I'm addressing THIS point of time and what we need to do right now to evolve our minds and spirit and solve our problems. The times of old are irrelevant now. There is only now to change. There's a lot of pressure to do so and just as much pressure to subvert this needed change. |

You are correct that humanity has to change if we ever want extraterrestrials to have open contact with us. We are not grown up yet as we still kill each other. Wars are common in every part of the world right now, and people are being killed for what kind of dogma they practice.
The human race has evolved materialistically and forgotten about our spiritual ancestry. Human kind should find the spiritual aspect again and rely less on the materialism. |

to move into "the future" we NEED to evaluate our past. Wars have always been here and always will.... we just gotta figure out what is truly worth fighting for.... before something else figures it out for us

The past keeps repeating because the same game is always played. Ethics would totally allow us to see our potential in an entirely different perspective. War is something that can potentially end, though the need to know how to fight would certainly exist because of the ability to usurp power has been demonstrable.
