Mass UFO sighting in Russia, child takes amazing photo

Three children, Lyuda Kurenkova, Veronica Prudnikova and Pasha Arbekov, were playing in a field in the Russian village of Ilyinke in the early evening hours of the August 7 when they noticed a large and perfectly clear UFO pass overhead. The classic flying saucer shaped UFO cast a large shadow over the field and the girls began yelling to alert other villagers of the bizarre sight.
Meanwhile the UFO made a few circles of the village before heading to a nearby communications tower. As the UFO approached the tower its lights went out. It seemed as if the UFO was interfering with its electrical supply.

The children described the UFO as glowing and colored both blue and red.
At one point one of the girls managed to snap a good photo (above) of the object. Other villagers, on hearing the girl’s screams, also came outside and saw the UFO.
The UFO then rose slowly before shooting up skywards at an incredible rate and vanishing. The sighting lasted less than one minute.
Experts have already interviewed the girls and declared the photo and sighting genuine.

The picture does look like a drawing. I wonder what the video geeks will say about it?

ok, so once again we have child witnesses, and a very POOR qaulity photo, im sorry but even the shittiest cameras on the market still take pretty good qaulity pictures, why would they have just taken ONE foto, and what camera is it they were using? looks to me like it was a Nokia 3200 camera photo, taken through a haze of smoke...by the town drunk... on a stormy evening... im sorry im approaching this so cynically.

Right, I thought almost the same. The UFO on the picture looks like, it's been airbrushed on top of the rest. Also, the coloring looks improperly. I think it's a hoax.

Since everyone things it is a hoax, I might go against the current and say that it is real, but I cannot back that statement with any proof or arguments I am sorry to say. It was a nice try by those kids though..

I am not claiming it to be a hoax, but the photo does look like someone water colored it. There may be a good reason why it looks that way, and I was hoping someone could show an example of that.

There are many photographs from the 1950s that are excellent and show actual metallic craft. These photos have been tested by many experts and proven to not be faked. Those photos have set the bar way up, and unfortunately very few photos taken nowadays matches up to the quality.

Damn these aliens really are smart, they always seem to know where in the world to show themselves where there will only be 12 year old kids with cameras from the 1970s...All these hoax pics really get on my nerves. It only makes people more skeptical. I would rather have no pics than fake ones.
