Default The Fourth Kind

Has anyone heard anything about this movie. Saw a trailer for it the other day. Looks scary...

The film purports to be based on actual events, and is set in Nome, Alaska, a town which the movie mentions has had a disproportionate number of reported missing people and alien abductions over the last forty years, supported by archived footage. Milla Jovovich plays the part of psychotherapist Dr. Abigail Tyler, whom the movie states is based on a real psychologist who videotapes interviews with the abductees

The movie is total fiction and the producers are using a Blair Witch marketing approach to it. Still, it looks to be quite interesting.

Just know that it is totally made up.

Looks good, KidFlash is right , the "archive footage" looks kinda staged, after seeing it i googled the place and Abductions and you got mixed results regarding wether or not the main character actually exists as well as other things, one thing the trailer did was remind me about the sumarian sculptures that seem to show "space suits" and rockets ect , thought that was pretty cool they had tapped into that , found this story whilst browsing:

never heard about this before wont bother starting a thread about it cos its' old and guess it was proved a hoax! interesting tho the Ancient astronaut theory!

Ah, please no! I was so hyped after I heard, that they re-act real footage. But still, it looks interesting and I'm definitely going to watch it, when it comes out here in Germany.

Looked like another Hollywood adaptation of real events. Over the top, but interesting.

2012, paranormal activity, fourth kind.....Wake up guys they're prepping us as "bestly" as they can without cause'n mass hysteria. for instance, 2012 was done with big special effects because there is no way to show earth's "reset". paranormal activity, to show us there really are ghost that are going to be enteracting with us soon. they're just waiting in limbo. The fourth kind, because thats how alot of us will end up being judged (its quicker than people standing in line at the pearly gates). They had to keep up with the times, you know?

These disaster and horror type movies have always been popular. They know how to market them and make plenty of money off of them.

The studios aren't "prepping" us for anything other than to take our $12 at the box office, and the cinema owners are "prepping" us for $7 popcorn and $4 sodas.
