David Icke claims the moon is "a gigantic ‘spacecraft’...which is home to an extraterrestrial group that is manipulating humanity"

Eh, not too far off from John Lear. There are others too that say similar stuff. Hell, Lear himself says that the moon was towed to the Earth. It's becoming a more and more prevalent theme, though I don't prescribe to it. Existence of ET? yes. Artificial satellites that are erected solely for controlling a planet of people? No. If ET exists in our own solar system, then I'm more inclined to believe that they have the technology to mine a moon, not create a replica of one. Besides, the resources needed for such an endeavor renders it illogical to begin with.

True, John Lear was interviewed by Project Camelot (the whole interview is on youtube) and he showed some pictures, which showed some really strange structures on the surface of the moon. He claims, those pictures were taking from the NASA archive, before they could get "air brushed" and revealed to the public.

I don´t know. For me, John Lear is a pretty interesting character and I believe that some of his stories are real.
The moon thing however......Well, we haven´t been on the moon in over 50 years! If it´s so interesting up there, why wait? Maybe the government(s) already know(s) that the moon is a vehicle and they just don´t want to reveal this information to the public. That´s why, we were not on the moon in such a long period of time (if we were on the moon at all).
But who knows.

i have been looking into this John Lear character, sorry to stray away from the David Icke thread but what the hey!, Lear's an interesting character , he has very good credentials ect but when i heard about his theorys on 9/11 i was taken aback , i like to think im open minded!, i believe in aliens ect but for some reason i couldnd grab his whole "hologram" planes theory and the whole energy beam weapon to bring down the towers! not to get into the whole 9/11 thing again , but theres more eveidence in the whole planted explosives thing!, anyway i find the whole dark side of the moon thing facinating , and he claims we have been on the moon and mars for years , where are all these rockets ect taking off from , or is it the whole transportation doors he claims excist that are in use???? ahhhh the mind boggles , this is quite a good debate i found on the subject of Lear and other things if you wanna check it out!
