Are we about to experience some kind of huge Earthly event?

Are UFO's appearing more frequently? Or are there simply more people looking for them?

If UFO's really are appearing on a more frequent basis, what could this mean? People have been saying for decades that there is something on the horizon. However as the generations pass, this doesnt quite seem to happen. The believers get older and die believing that this "event" is only just around the corner, still the major significant "event" never occurs. However if this event does happen, whatever it is, will it answer all the questions? Or simply raise more? I believe it will raise an infinite number of further questions, and become far more disteressing to those of us trying to seek answers, as we will findourselves backed further into the abyss.

I think its already broke and were being kept in the dark about it.

I think sightings around government installations have increased, and i believe our governments are in dialogue with alien life.

I have my doubts tha seti was put on hold due to budget restrictions, especially as it was relatively cheap to run. It is possible that it just isnt needed right now.

put 2+2 together and you have the government turn off seti and an increase in ufo activity

Well, if you're right, then one way or another something is gonna happen and the public will be made aware...
