Ever wonder why...?

The skeptic in me pops up once in a while when I read things like this, ".....I could not move, they floated me out of the bed, down the hallway, around the corner and down the stairs. We went through the kitchen and around the kitchen table towards the door. Then I remembered it was locked and wondered if I would have to unlock it. But I passed right through the door! Then I saw the ship. They floated me up a ramp and through a door into the interior.... etc, etc"

Why would beings powerful enough to float a person through a locked door need to be so careful as to float them around corners, down stairs, around tables and up a ramp to gain access to a ship? What's wrong with instant teleportation? Ramps needed,..... come on, sounds an awful lot like "The Day The Earth Stood Still" doesn't it.

Given the penchant for false memories to be implanted, perhaps it might serve the ET's better to have a vague real memory, such as someone opening a door themselves, so that they can manipulate the truth and sprinkle in some doubt and some false recall rather than make it up from thin air.

In the absense of any first hand material, I would suggest reading accounts from a forum I frequent outside here. I'll give you all a smattering of some of the threads in the 'Encounters' section on the forum.

A 106 page thread (as the count stands today) of one person's entire life, up to this date, about his experiences. It's the most layman friendly thread I've seen here that specifies an assortment of things.

Michael Lee Hill, himself, has a thread on this forum... along with John Lear.

This is one of the more abstract threads you'll encounter. His writing is more poetic and styled more in line of a transcendentalist.

The truth is most of the bedroom encounters are sleep paralysis (or have other non alien causes). There is not much being done to bring the abduction part of the phenomena to the next level. Too many researchers still rely on hypnotic regression, and that can be mixed with fantasy and dreams.
Physical evidence and other eyewitnesses would help, but the best cases are when the person has total recall without using regression.

Good point. Why would Aliens do this, why not just teleport humans in there ships. oh and by the way:

The old "The Day the Earth stood still" from 1951 is way better then the new version hehe.
