The season finale of UFO Hunters was among the worst episodes this season. The main problem with the show was they rehashed the same old theories that have been heard before. My main problem was the use of Bob Lazar as a main point to the stories. The truth of what he has said is at best dubious, and much of what it has been proven to be down right lies.
I really lost respect when they trotted out John Lear. Among his theories are: 1. There is a breathable atmosphere on the moon. This was on one of his websites until quite recently, and many of his believers think it is true now. 2. He claims the government has a Stargate. It is interesting that this theory only came out after the movie did. The crew also drove around the perimeter of the base, and talked about how intimidating the security crews are. Considering it is a restricted area, it should be quite intimidating to keep people out. Is there any extraterrestrial ships at Area 51? An interesting interview by Major Kevin Randle to a retired general suggests the extraterrestrial craft and bodies are at other locations and Area 51 is only used to test our aircraft. The show did nothing but pass off formerly disproven statements as facts. One of the things I liked about the earlier episodes was they actually did some real investigation work. Here they did not, and just took the word of a couple of con artists. I expect much more out of this show, but it seems to have relapsed to last seasons ineptitude. I can only hope season three does not start off like this one ended, or the show has lost a fan. |

I agree, it wasn't very good. But they did get a really high definition video on Area 51, which they said that no one has done before.

I'll agree with you on that one, but the overall episode was quite bad. They could get themselves in deep trouble for airing footage of a restricted access area. I would not be surprised if the producers got a visit from the feds, as they did know better on that one.

Nothing will probably happen as they just showed what the base looks like. It resembles most of the flight lines I have seen and worked on in my Air Force tours.
