Jim Ragsdales story turned out to be not true:
http://kevinrandle.blogspot.com/2007...p-through.html Say what you want about Major Randle, he is a good investigator after the truth. His most recent blog brings up a solid witness to Roswell who initially denied what happened: http://kevinrandle.blogspot.com/2009...-saunders.html The major problem with Roswell is all the past hoaxers and liars. They have spoiled the case, and until they get weeded out, no scientific researcher will take this case seriously. |

Meteorlima, I am not trying to give you a hard time. I do believe an extraterrestrial craft crashed at Roswell. I also think there is a lot of people who want attention and money. One will not find any alien bodies or wreckage, as the military did an excellent clean up job. However, there are ways to figure out something happened through deduction.
I have over ten years experience in the military (Air Force), so I know how it works. I use that knowledge to look at data to find things people may miss. One thing about all military bases is they have maintenance units that fix the planes and balloons (or whatever military equipment that is on the base). They are separate from civil engineering, which deals with building and base support maintenance. One thing I do know is that a cargo of debris was flown to Wright-Patterson Airfield. Why would they fly pieces of balloon to another airfield when they could repair the pieces there? Also, if it was a top secret project that was broken, they still would of used a more routine flight (with other cargo) instead of a special flight. Another thing was all the high ranking officers that were involved. If it was a jet crashing, I can see the military brass checking in to see what happened. But for a balloon, why would they have all those flag (general) officers involved? I can see the DCM (Deputy Commander Maintenance) who was a colonel, and the wing commander, but not so many flag officers making special trips to the area. All of those events are documented. They do not think most civilians who have no knowledge of the military would ask. That may be boring to look for records of flights, and other rather routine events, but they do add up to the puzzle itself. We do know something happened, and the military does not deny it. Was it a Project Mogul balloon? Through Major Randle's meticulous research, it appears that Project Mogul was not as secret as we are led to believe. Was it a Soviet aircraft? As the USSR does not exist anymore, why would that be kept a secret? Plus, the Russians have opened up most of their archives which have led to a treasure of information. Nothing about one of their planes crashing in Roswell. Could it of been one of our secret research craft? The technology would be very outdated by now, and it is also known they tried to work with disk shaped craft. The disk shaped craft idea failed because it was too unstable and could not fly more than a few feet off the ground. Anything else would be revealed by now as it would be over sixty year old technology. There is a lot out there they shows something quite strange happened. The tough job is to get the small pieces to add up to the bigger picture of what happened. If it was aliens, the government will do a great job of covering it up. They are also smiling at all the many false information and hoaxes out there. They do frown on people like me, who pick at the small stuff. We are too nosy for them, and they don't want people to get the right scent of what happened. |

No, I just discovered his books. I am also a big fan of Stanton Friedman, whose tireless research on the MJ-12 papers have found much new information and documents that would have not been found. His latest book "Captured" is great reading with new information on the Betty and Barney Hill case.
I use those names to show there are good researchers out there. It is just that there are also too many charlatans who do not care whether or not the information they state is real. They do not check their own facts, and rely solely on the testimony they receive. |
