Boeing announced Tuesday that its stealthy killer drone — the “Phantom Ray” — had flown for the first time - (riiiight). The flight, from Edwards Air Force Base, California, lasted just 17 minutes.

looks like a kick ass drone. does stand to figure how did we get this advanced in such a short time i was just looking at some old footage of guys wearing wings on their arms and jumping off cliffs thinking they were going to fly and as funny as it was to see this footage it really wasn't that long ago...

Yeah, good point. And to think this was in development 10 or more years ago. Imagine what they have on the workbench now!

yea i heard many years ago that by the time they put a plane into production its already obsolete...

The workbench, gave them something like that Helicopter shot down in Afganistan ! The one with the Rotor looking as if it came out of a futuristic Film.Must have knocked Bin Laden right out of his bed! Regards
