Yeah, I thought that was a likely theory as well. I was thinking to myself "Really! Your going to see a ghost and gasp!" Not that I wouldn't gasp, but I would of spoke some graphical obscene words as well.

Also, the way the camera is "wavering" with the distortion lines at times looks to be an Adobe Premiere Pro kind of filter.
