Depending on your state, you may have privacy rights regarding your User Data.
You may request a free copy of the User Data we hold about you. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request. Approved requests will be delivered by email through a secure download link available for 72 hours. If you no longer have access to your email, contact privacy@truthed.com. Additional rights may apply to residents of Minnesota and Oregon.
Truthed may, in accordance with its privacy policy, use cookies and other technologies to collect and share personal information with third parties for targeted advertising purposes. If you wish to opt out of the sharing of this information for these purposes, you can use a Global Privacy Control (GPC) Signal, or you can adjust your preferences below. Exercising these rights will prevent your personal information from being shared by us for these purposes.
Truthed allows customers to update or correct their User Data through their account settings while logged in. For non-customers, correction requests are processed as deletion requests and may be submitted through the Right to Delete option below.
You may request deletion of your User Data using the button below. Customers may be asked to log in. Deletion requests may result in account closure and cancellation of active subscriptions. We may verify your identity and send a confirmation email to complete the request.
Note: We may retain certain personal information where legally required or permitted, including for fraud prevention, billing enforcement, legal claims, or system backups.
Deleting your User Data will not prevent others from searching for your Public Data through our services. To remove your information from Background Reports on our website, please submit an Optout Request.
Certain state laws allow authorized agents to submit privacy requests on behalf of consumers. To protect personal information, we may require verification of the consumer's identity and the agent's authority.
If applicable in your state, authorized agents may email privacy@truthed.com with written authorization or a valid power of attorney, along with the consumer's contact information and the email address used to interact with Truthed.
We may deny requests that are incomplete, cannot be verified, contain inaccurate information, or are not permitted under applicable law.
